Help on: grouping
MUD players also get this communications channel, but that is not the most compelling reason for MUD players to group. The primary function of the group for MUDders is so a team of players, who are working together, can share earned experience points fairly among the members of the group. Many adventures require the combined efforts of several character classes to be successfully completed. Being GROUPed assures that all team members get their share of the experience.
The mechanics of grouping are:
1. Select one person to be the group's leader.
2. All other would be members FOLLOW <leader>. (See `help follow')
3. The leader enrolls the members with GROUP. (See `help group')
4. You should be within 3 levels of each other.
That's all there is to it. Now that you are all grouped, you can use the group tell command, gtell, to talk amongst yourselves. The GROUP command can be used by any member of the group to display the members of the group, but only the LEADER can enroll/expel members.
